A scenic 5k race along the Whitby Heydenshore waterfront trail. The race is officially timed by Sportstats.ca and real-time results will be available on their website. The race will begin and end outside the Heydenshore pavilion, where public parking and public washrooms are available. The trail is paved and largely flat, featuring slight uphill/downhill portions. Participants will run from the start line until the parking lot on Thickson road, then turn around and use the opposite side of the path. Participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items to support local food banks.
